Why does it take the promise of a new year to be...
Here I sit, falling into the cliches of being nostalgic now that the new year is a few days away. So it goes. I guess cliches wouldn’t be true if they didn’t hold some truth.
So much has changed this year. Right off the bat, I don’t feel like I’ve changed to much, but when I think of who I was December 31, 2010 and who I am now, I think it’s safe to say that my...

There is nothing to do in Kansas City, Mo. And I...
Hi tumblr,
Sorry for the neglect. Twitter has taken over my posts. Damn it’s quick and dirty updates that claim to help me find jobs. [I mean, I did find a job opening via Twitter and I may have an interview on Wednesday…] But, that doesn’t mean I should neglect you. I was looking through my old posts and realized how much I had forgotten and then remembered about these past few years and...

The nice thing about Kansas City...
was the fact that I didn’t have to pay to go. The school paid for the flight and hotel and will be reimbursing me for my food.
I did go to the casino for the first time. It was fun. I made a whopping $2.86 on the penny slots. David lost $15. I guess I had better beginner’s luck. When I actually have some money to play with (and once I practice more) I think I’d be pretty good at...
It's Darren's birthday...
and I’m stuck in Kansas City. :/ We didn’t even do anything today. We could’ve flown in tomorrow. Oh well. So it goes. That’s what I get for being an awesome sales person.
Also, there is nothing to do in the city. It seems deserted. There are only restaurants around us. And half of them aren’t even open. It’s so weird.
Tomorrow I get to work on my sales...
I fail at recaps...
I’m headed to Kansas City this week. [On Darren’s birthday :(…] I’ve been quite the traveler through the States this year. New York a few times, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Texas and now Missouri. [I don’t really get to travel much due to school, so this is exciting for me.]
I’m not really sure what there will be to do in KC, but I have no expectations, so it...

Such an interesting night...
in Dallas. Haunted House for free. Lots of other free stuff. Personal pool party. Oh, and it’s not even midnight. However, it is bedtime. Until tomorrow!
At this place called Gator’s. And we’re the only ones here… And the guy outside tried to sell us flowers…
You can apparently get a flu shot at the Cinci Airport..
Hello, Tumblr. I’m traveling, so of course I feel interesting enough to blog. Off to Dallas for an advertising conference!

– House of Heroes (Metaphor in Parenthesis)
Reflection.
I’m at a loss of words to describe everything. Things have been… different? weird? a part of growing up? I’m not sure. Take your pick. Artists have always been able to say what I want more eloquently.
No more worrying about whether or not I’m graduating on time. I found an internship and I’m the only intern and in charge of pretty much everything. It’s...

Where...
do I begin? Angela yelled at me for not updating in a month because this is where she learns about my life while we’re apart and busy being grown-ups.
A lot has changed this month. Hell, this week even.
My mom had surgery on her foot the week I moved out of the residence halls DORMS. I can call them what I want because I am not returning as an RA! Woot. (Downside: Hello paying for stuff....

Fair enough… excellent answer.
NSAC is taking over my life...
Seriously. We compete on Saturday. Each night this week has been dedicated to practicing memorizing the script. We have to have it memorized by tomorrow.
It reminds me of the old theatre days. I kinda miss it.
After NSAC I have two crazy weeks of school and assignments left. I miss writing too. School is stifling my creativity. Hahah.
On a Happier Note...
love of my life Johnathan Groff was on Glee. He told me once that I was kind of amazing. True story.
Second Episode of Criminal Minds...
I’ve watched in a row where Reed has been in trouble. This cannot be good for my heart.
I love my Brothers
and am excited to say: I’m the next President of PHI SIGMA PI!
I need to stop being on duty...
in order to stop freaking myself out by watching Criminal Minds and Law and Order.
Another earbud rule breaker. And he is sitting ACROSS the room. A LARGE room. That cannot be good for his ears or my sanity.
I don't think people understand...
personal music player etiquette. If your earbuds are in your ears, I should not be able to hear your music at all, especially not clearly enough to hear the words of the song and to be annoyed by your music choices, especially when it’s between classes and other people are loud walking by and you are sitting a few feet away from me.
Funny Stories from New York City...
(and some not as funny stories)
I’m actually going to debrief this trip. My January visit is still hanging out in my drafts. Maybe one day I’ll finish. Great, now I’m gonna half to. Anyway…
Wednesday: I was really upset that they legitimately blocked the windows of the last row of the plane. (Yes, I know windows have screens. No, the screen wasn’t blocking my...
Flying home on the smallest plane ever.
After a short shopping trip, it’s time for Promises, Promises!
Never again will I stand in that line. They didn’t have any tickets. We went to the Promises, Promises theatre and got tickets there.
Hour two in line at the TKTS Booth…
Saatchi interview. Check. Now for some interesting burgers at Hard Rock.
Quite the Adventure Already...
Taxis are ridiculous. Ours bumped into a cute boy riding a bicycle. Poor thing.
Hello again, New York.

I forgot how tiny some planes are
Getting dropped off at the airport. Wish me luck!
Headed to New York...
tomorrow. Get ready for some liveblogging. Apparently the only time my life is interesting is when I’m in the city. Or maybe it’s the only time I actually have time to write. Hah. Imagine that.

The Man Your Man Could Smell Like Update:
He has a Twitter page and has made tv appearances. Old Spice really did something great with this campaign. Its simplicity, random nature and humor make the campaign work.
